Dear Parents,
We want to apprise all families of our snowstorm policy here at New Beginnings.
Our policy is that if Valley View schools are closed, we are also. Please listen to the television/radio school closing information or call the Valley View school-closing hotline number, 815-886-2700.

As always, parents need to walk their students into the All-Day Room and check-in if there is not a teacher to greet them at the door. In the event of unexpected severe weather arriving after your child is at school, we will notify you to come retrieve your child. EVERY CHILD MUST HAVE AN EMERGENCY PICK-UP PERSON AUTHORIZED ON FILE.
In the past, we have tried to stay open for "daycare only" and in some cases we all became stranded at school. Therefore, when New Beginnings closes due to weather, we will be completely closed with no classes or daycare. We appreciate your understanding.
Attention Preschool Parents: Please update your child's supply box with
an appropriate change of clothes for the winter. Also make sure you send
rubber-soled slippers for your child to wear indoors.
