Our Mission
Our goal is to provide a Christian environment coupled with the Montessori
method of learning which will allow for the spiritual, educational, and
developmental growth of our students. As Christian teachers, we strive
to give the children a firm foundation in the Bible, familiarizing them
with God's word through scripture memorization, stories, songs, and
drama.

REGISTRATION DAY is Wednesday, July 30th
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Registration day is for PARENTS OF ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS. It is very important for one parent to come to registration day. This will help reduce congestion on the first day of school. Registration includes completing information forms, paying fees, and submitting health records. Orientation day is when new students will visit their classroom and teacher. (see below)
SCHOOL PHYSICAL EXAMS FOR FALL ENROLLMENT: Please note the state requirements:

6th Grade (current 5th graders who had physicals last year are exempt)

New Student (any level)
Please Note: Eye exams are required to be completed by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. Please make your appointments early to avoid the last minute rush. Forms for all of the above exams are available in the school office or at your physician’s office. Children cannot attend school until the appropriate health forms are on file with the school office.
NEW STUDENTS in any grade must present a copy of their birth certificate at registration.
SCHOOL ATTENDANCE:
PARENTS OF NEW STUDENTS: Monday, August 25th 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Parents, please join us for a brief orientation and information session about our school and the Parent Teacher Organization. At 10:30 your preschool/kindergarten child will be brought to meet you at the front doors. New elementary students do not attend this day, but parents are invited to this orientation.
FEES DUE ON REGISTRATION DAY: (if not previously paid):

* Enrollment $50.00 (one per student, per year)
* Materials $30.00 (Preschool & Kindergarten) $40.00 (Elementary & Middle) * August/September Tuition A signed enrollment agreement must be on file.
Checks for tuition and childcare should be made payable to New Beginnings Christian Montessori. If your child’s last name is different than the name on the check, please put the child’s name in the memo area of the check. If you are planning on paying your tuition annually or semi-annually, please call the office prior to registration day, so your statement may be prepared in advance.
EMERGENCY INFORMATION: Please complete the enclosed blue STUDENT INFORMATION for each student and return it on registration day. We need to have current information on file for our records. Please update this information as necessary throughout the year. Emergency Information cards for off-campus field trips will be available for completion at registration.
PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION: 2008-09 PTO dues are $20.00 per family. We have a very strong, active PTO, whose purpose is raising funds to purchase educational materials and plan events beneficial to our children. Please complete a PTO volunteer questionnaire to indicate how you may help out in some way during the next year. Also, the PTO is offering the convenience of making one payment in advance for all field trips taken during the year.
The fee for field trips is: $35.00 for Preschool,
$40.00 for Kindergarten, and
$50.00 for Elementary students
If you choose not to use the one pre-payment method, you may pay half now, and the remainder in January. Middle School students will pay as needed. Checks for dues, field trips, t-shirt orders, and school supplies should be made payable to New Beginnings PTO .
PRESCHOOL SUPPLIES: Students need a large storage box (12 quart, flat-top, Sterilite or Rubbermaid, labeled with name), a complete change of clothing (each item labeled with name), a backpack (see note below), and a large box of tissues. A more detailed list will be available for those preschool students who stay for extended care. NOTE: Due to space constraints, please avoid backpacks with wheels or hard handles for ALL students, at all levels.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES for KINDERGARTEN , ELEMENTARY, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Our PTO is performing the job of shopping for your child(ren)’s school supplies! Kindergarten supplies will be available to pick up in one package on registration day. Elementary and Middle School supplies may be paid on registration day, but will be available in the classroom on the first day of school.
Checks should be made payable to New Beginnings PTO.
School Supplies:
Kindergarten $15.00
Lower Elementary $20.00
Upper Elementary $30.00 (includes Spelling, Vocabulary, and Bible study books)
Middle School $30.00 (includes binder, notebooks, and Bible study books)
NEW BEGINNINGS T-SHIRT ORDERS: Forms to order school spirit wear will be available at registration. Blue New Beginnings’ shirts or sweatshirts are required for out-of-school field trips.
Checks are made payable to New Beginnings PTO.
