New Beginnings Christian Montessori

Our Mission

Our goal is to provide a Christian environment coupled with the Montessori method of learning which will allow for the spiritual, educational, and developmental growth of our students. As Christian teachers, we strive to give the children a firm foundation in the Bible, familiarizing them with God's word through scripture memorization, stories, songs, and drama.

If you're interested in learning more about our school, please read the About page.

EXAMS FOR FALL ENROLLMENT: Please note the updated state requirements for exams by grade level:

Physical Exam: New Preschool, Kindergarten, 6th Grade*
Dental Exam: Kindergaren, 2nd Grade, 6th Grade
Eye Exam: New Preschool, Kindergarten

*(current 5th graders who had physicals last year are exempt)

Please Note: Eye exams are required to be completed by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. Please make your appointments early to avoid the last minute rush.
Forms for all of the above exams are available in the office.

CLOTHING: During this spring season, our indoor temperature can also be very unpredictable. Please have your children dress in layers which they may remove in case the classroom becomes too warm.

LOST AND FOUND: Please stop by to check the area across from the office for items which may have been misplaced. Clothing not claimed at the end of the school year will be donated to charity.

TARDINESS: Classes begin promptly at 8:45 each day. A staff member is on duty at the front doors from 8:30 to 8:40. All students should be inside the building by 8:40, so they can be in their classroom and ready to work at 8:45. Please stress with your students the importance of being on time to school.

If students arrive prior to 8:30, they should enter at the playground doors where we have an attendant. Those students will be charged for early arrival. Please remember that if a staff member is not at the front door, an adult must escort children inside the building. After 8:45, an adult needs to sign them in as present on the tardy list in the office.

LUNCH: When a student forgets to bring their lunch, we will attempt to call a parent to bring it in, provided this is discovered prior to lunchtime. If this is not possible, and because we do not want children to go without eating, a snack will be provided from our supply. However, in order to encourage the individual student’s responsibility to remember a lunch each day, a $2.00 charge will be added to the account after the first occurrence.

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the American Sales fundraiser. We made our goal of $10,000 in sales ($5,000 profit) to fund all of our upcoming field trips. Battle of the Library Cards: If your child is in Kindergarten through the 5th grade, please fill out and return the entry forms to the library or to the office by November 2nd. Our school won first place last year and we would like to do it again! The prize is free books from the library. Extra forms are available in the office. Thank You.

Picture Day is Thursday, October 25th - Student pictures will be taken during class time, beginning at 9:00am. If your preschooler doesn’t normally attend on that day, please bring him/her to the lobby at 8:45am to be photographed first. Please be sure to return the order forms no later than Thursday morning. All students will have their pictures taken for our class composites, but only those with forms and money enclosed will have orders placed.

Elementary Mom’s Night is Thursday, October 25th from 6pm – 7:30pm. Elementary students and their mothers are invited to come and spend some time in the classroom. Have your child show you all of his/her favorite works… it’s a fun-filled night - see you there!

Tuesday, October 30 - Pre-school/KG in school presentation given by Kathleen Gibson. Kathleen is an award winning singer/song writer who specializes in children's entertainment. She will be doing an energetic one hour concert filled with fun songs with which the children will quickly find themselves singing along. The best part - Kathleen is a Christian with a special heart for our school and its vision, so her music will be adapted to our family values. All students are welcome to attend regardless of their scheduled days. Parents and siblings are also invited to join us at 10am for the concert. CDs of her music may be available for purchase by parents after the concert.
